Tapered roller bearings are specially designed to withstand combined radial and axial loads with a low friction coefficient during operation. The inner ring assembly with rollers and cage can be mounted separately from the outer ring. These separable and interchangeable bearings facilitate easy installation, disassembly and maintenance. Preload can be achieved by pairing a single-row tapered roller bearing with another one, making them suitable for applications requiring rigid bearing configurations.
