Self-aligning ball bearing

Self-aligning ball bearings consist of two rows of steel balls, with a common spherical raceway on the outer ring and two continuous deep groove raceways on the inner ring. These bearings can accommodate angular misalignment between the shaft and the housing, such as that caused by shaft deflection.
