What are the matching requirements for precision bearings

Bearing is an important basic component in mechanical equipment. It not only requires high performance and high precision, but also the cooperation between bearings is very important. To ensure that the bearings are not excessively deformed after installation, it is necessary to:

(1) Roundness of shaft and seat hole and verticality of shoulder shall be in accordance with corresponding accuracy requirements of bearing

(2) It is necessary to accurately calculate the amount of interference of the rotating collar fit and the appropriate amount of fit of the stationary collar. It is recommended that a small combustion disturbance be achieved for the rotating collar to the extent possible. As long as the thermal expansion effect at the working temperature and the centrifugal force effect at the maximum speed are effectively guaranteed, the creep or sliding of the closely matched surface will not be caused. Select the retaining ring with the minimum clearance or interference fit according to the working load and bearing size. Too loose or too tight is detrimental to maintaining the original accurate shape.

(3) If the bearing operates at high speed and high temperature, special attention shall be paid not to loose the fit of rotating ring to prevent eccentric vibration. The fit of fixed ring shall be free of clearance to prevent deformation of ring under load and vibration excitation.

(4) The condition of small interference fit for the fixed ring is that both sides of the fitting surface have high shape accuracy and small roughness, otherwise it will lead to difficult installation and removal. In addition, the influence of the thermal elongation of the spindle needs to be considered.

(5) The main shaft adopts a pair of double angular contact ball bearings with relatively light load. If the fit interference is too large, the internal axial preload will be significantly too large, causing adverse effects. The shafts with double row short cylindrical roller bearings and the shafts with tapered roller bearings have relatively large loads, so their mating interference is relatively large.
