Sharing of bearing structure knowledge

As for bearings, many people may not have a clear understanding of them or know their applications. In fact, they are important components of mechanical equipment and are widely used in industrial machinery. Then what are the components of the bearing structure and the differences between various bearing structures? The details are as follows.

1. Bearing Sleeves

1) The inner diameter of the bearing sleeve exceeds the specified maximum value, i.e., the shaft diameter plus the maximum allowable clearance of the bearing;

2) When the outer diameter of the bearing sleeve is less than the minimum value of the regular dimension and the knurling method cannot meet the quality requirements of the pipeline;

3) When the bearing sleeve is burnt out or seized.

2. Split Air Supply Bearings

1) When the alloy is severely worn and its thickness is reduced by more than 1/2;

2) When the area of severe spalling and cracking of the alloy layer exceeds 1/3;

3) Severe burning of the bearing alloy layer;

4) When the contact angle between the alloy and the bearing shaft is greater than 120 degrees, it is impossible to adjust the contact angle by scraping the surface of the bearing bush opening, or the side clearance is too large to adjust.

3. Bearing Thin-Walled Pads

1) Melting of the alloy layer;

2) When the bearing alloy layer is severely worn and seized and cannot be tightened with gaskets;

3) When the alloy layer is spalled or cracked;

4) When the wear of the alloy layer is not too severe but the maintenance margin cannot be guaranteed;

5) When the wear of the alloy layer requires tightening the bearing by adding gaskets, but the thickness of the gaskets exceeds 0.5 mm.
